Welcome to the sweetest job in town! In Cake Shop, you are the owner and head pastry chef of a brand-new bakery. The doors have just opened, and a line of hungry customers is already forming. Each one has a specific craving—some want a simple vanilla sponge, while others demand multi-layered chocolate masterpieces topped with fruit and cream.

This is a high-speed balancing act. You’ll need to bake the tiers, apply the correct frosting, add the right decorations, and serve them before your customers lose their patience. As you earn money, you can upgrade your ovens to bake faster, buy fancy new toppings, and expand your menu to include coffee and milkshakes. It’s a delicious race against the clock to see if you have what it takes to run a five-star shop!

How to Play Cake Shop

Your goal is to serve every customer their exact order and meet the daily profit goal.

Take the Order: Look at the thought bubble above each customer to see what cake they want.

Assemble the Cake: Click the correct base (chocolate, vanilla, etc.), add the requested frosting, and finish with toppings like cherries or sprinkles.

Watch the Patience Meter: A bar next to the customer will slowly deplete. Serve them quickly to get a "Big Tip"—wait too long, and they’ll leave angry!

Manage the Machines: Keep your ovens busy, but make sure not to burn the cakes. If you make a mistake, throw the ruined cake in the bin and start over.

Upgrade Your Shop: Spend your earnings between levels to buy faster coffee machines, more prep tables, or decorative items that keep customers patient for longer.

Game Controls

Desktop Mouse Click: Select ingredients, interact with ovens, and serve the finished cake to the customer.

Drag & Drop: Some versions require you to drag the finished cake directly to the person who ordered it.

Spacebar: Instantly pause the game to check your next moves.

Mobile & Tablet Tap: Touch the different stations (Baking, Frosting, Topping) to assemble the order.

Swipe: Slide the finished plate across the counter to the customer.

Menu Icons: Tap the "Shop" icon after each level to browse for equipment upgrades.
