It’s been a while since the last Cut the Rope adventure, but the lovable green creature is back in Cut the Rope: Time Travel! This time, Om Nom stumbles into a mysterious lab and accidentally activates a time machine, sending him on a journey through history. Along the way, he encounters his candy-loving ancestors, each with their own era-themed challenges. With plenty of puzzles to solve and treats to collect, it’s up to you to make sure Om Nom (and his ancestors) stay well-fed on this exciting sci-fi adventure!
How to play Cut the Rope: Time Travel
Cut the Rope: Time Travel is a 2D physics-based puzzle game that brings a fresh twist to the classic mechanics. Using the mouse, click to tap or hold and drag to cut ropes, guiding candy to Om Nom and his ancestor in each level. To achieve 100% completion, collect three stars per level by maneuvering the candy strategically.
As in previous Cut the Rope games, physics plays a key role—gravity, momentum, and friction all affect how the candy moves. You’ll need to interact with various objects, including elastic ropes, bubbles, air cushions, and attachable pins. New obstacles, such as spinning blades, appear as you progress, adding to the challenge.
The unique twist in Time Travel is the introduction of Om Nom’s ancestors. Each time period serves as a new world, featuring a different ancestor who must also be fed. This means you’ll have two candies to manage, making the puzzles even more dynamic and engaging.
